ZOOL was initially founded by and for E-Bisglobal, so we truly practice what we preach! We now run as a distinct company. Most importantly, our leadership team have been in the sourcing and software game for a long time.


Paul Freeman

Executive Chairman

Paul has over 40 years’ experience in the print and IT industries. He began his career in IT with the NSW Government before working in sales and marketing of paper products. By the age of 38, Paul was Managing Director of a group comprising three printing companies, an office consumables division and more than 100 staff. This experience paved the way for him to fulfil his dream of starting a business in 1990 with his wife Ann, a print brokerage firm called ‘Off and Running Print Management’.

As the business continued to grow and evolve, Paul invested in building the IT development company ‘Providing the Edge’. This was subsequently incorporated as ZOOL Pty Ltd, which reflected the significance Paul realised e-commerce would have on the future of procurement. In 2017, the company was rebranded to ZOOL Global, based on growing demand for outsourced procurement services from an international client base. Paul is featured in “50 Unsung Business Heroes” and led E-Bisprint (now E-Bisglobal) to a place in BRW’s Top 20 Most Innovative Companies in Australia.


Sean Havard

Chief Executive Officer

Sean brings to ZOOL Global an extensive background in financial and systems management, auditing and forensic accounting. After graduating from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 1998, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) both in the United States and Australia for six years. During this time, he gained experience working for clients representing numerous industries and international markets.

Sean then joined Apple Computers Australia as Financial Controller. In this role, he managed Apple’s shared services division located in Singapore and was responsible for all financial reporting to the United States. Sean started at E-Bisprint in 2005 as Operations Manager and Director of Finance, returning in 2013 after working with WorkCover NSW for two years where he was responsible for the revitalisation of risk management for the second largest Workers Compensation Insurance organisation in Australasia. As Chief Executive Officer, Sean leads the ZOOL Global team as we embark on a mission to empower our clients through intelligent procurement.
